MARBLEHEAD, MA – Due to launch in September 2010, the latest sailboat off the board of Doug Zurn’s office is the Marblehead 22. Some say the best ride after a day of sailing is the row into shore, as you watch with a grin, the lines of your sailboat distant themselves. Discriminating sailors desire a perfect medley of oldand new; seeking a boat that is ahead of its time in build quality yet timeless in appearance. The Marblehead 22 is proposed as a moderately built, high performance Daysailer. She was designed and built utilizing 3-D computer modeling and the latest advancements in cold-molded construction techniques. She bears the classic lines and charm of a traditional wooden boat but without the upkeep. Speed, stability, “easibility” and good looks combine to ensure hours of pleasure on the water, by oneself, or with a crowd.
